We have a redundancy situation at work. At the moment I am doing a job where I am sat down all day, tied to the telephone, just inputting orders and quite frankly I find it as boring as hell.
I am wondering, as I think the future is suspect there, whether to cut my losses, volunteer and hope I get something else (there will be plenty of temp. work between now and Christmas) or to stick it out because although I hate it at least it's regular work even though it's poorly paid and they have let me do the hours I want.
What would you do?
